Leashing in Austin (Dancing leashed in the Cafe)

I was talking in the Cafe, and we started discussing the use of leashes in Austin. Everyone seemed to agree that would be a good thing, although the actual instances of leashing are pretty rare, which is disappointing.

I have always been in favor of leashing your sub. I used to even leash Linda during gallery discussions and pull her along like my little pet, and I almost always leash her when she dances at the Cafe (just in case some other Dom has a sexy accent and she "inadvertently" drops onto his lap *smh*)

I have always believed that the  leash is one of the deepest symbols in a D/s relationship:

(1) It is the physical manifestation of a bond that is deeper than friendship and darker than love.

(2) It is a reminder that you claim her, and that she is yours to do with as you please.

(3) It is the road between two roles: The one who follows at one end, and the one who leads and guides her through less traveled and darker paths at the other end.

(4) It is the yoke around her neck that reminds her of her place; the symbol of her submission.

(5) It says "I am Yours" at one end, and "Mine" at the other.

I found two vids I took of us in the Cafe with Linda leashed, and I decided to share it here in the interest of promoting more leashing in public.

PJ Party!

I was rooting through some old pics last night and I found this pic that I took in January 2016, almost two years ago. It's funny, but I look at it and I think to myself: there is the Daddy, and there is the Mommy, and there is Kota girl, the little kid...in Daddy and Mommy's laps.

See, you have to understand that when we first met Kota (in 2014!), she was only a GIS, and a mischievous one at that. When I first talked to her one on one, I could tell this was one smart cookie in front of me. But even though I now know Kota is a mature, complex, and very adult woman, I still sometimes remember her as this youngish GIS who danced in big afros with Linda and me.

One Year

It's been one year in RL, and a lifetime in SL.

Funny how time works.

When I gave you my collar I made a promise, and I intend to keep that promise. Such is life.

Afro Hair Dancing

I was sorting through some old textures in my inventory when I found two pics from 2014.

They show Linda, me, Kota, and Reni (Serenity Streussel) dancing in the cafe wearing afros...like, really huge afros!

I remember that we had been talking in the cafe to the newly-arrived Kota and Reni when Linda (as she is wont to do) suddenly whipped out and gave us the wigs and we started dancing....

Afterwards, the girls tried to push my body out of the cafe and into some water while I was afk! Which just goes to show that when the Dom is not looking, the subs will be bratty and unruly and in need of some spanking.

When I asked Kota about it later, she who has some brains answered that they were  "< 50% innocent", which confused my poor brain so much at the time that I forgot to get angry smh

Giving up the Linda Lou store land

All empty now

Linda gave up her inworld store about 3 weeks ago on June 13 (she still has an MP store though that brings her tons of money here), but I held onto the land until a couple days back.

We have a saying (peribahasa) that goes:

Sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit

Loosely translated, it says that doing things...even little things, over time will sooner or later create mountains.

Sometimes it feels like I am doing the opposite of that...instead of building things, little by little I am losing connections to the life we once had.

First I reluctantly gave up our land and home by the Blake Seas, and now the store that we shared for so long is also gone.

Exactly a year ago we had our one and only spat where we separated from each other for one week. I still have the emails and IMs that we sent each during that week, and it still makes my heart ache to see how miserable we were apart.

I want her to be happy, so I wish she would forget me completely and have a great life...but I know that I will never ever forget her, nor the time we spent together.

Let's Ride (Again!)

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...oh wait...that's Star Wars...

Well, a few years back Linda bought me a custom bike.

She's a real life biker, and I'm this island guy who's never ridden one in RL at all and thinks they're death traps, but the great thing about SL is that you can go straight up a tree in them (which Linda frequently did) and not even get your hair mussed.

Chewing up the road

I took out that old bike and drove it around the paved roads on the sim where Linda once had her store (she took it down a couple weeks back, though I've kept the rent and added a small memorial to it for now). The store is gone now, but I did thankfully give a tour of it earlier.

It felt good driving the thing.

Nowadays all my time is spent on D/s and socializing at Austin, and I've forgotten the things I used to do for fun way back when.

Somewhere there is one perfect moment in time when you are always with me. It is just out of reach, but I can almost see it if I close my eyes. Tak sesal, tak lupa.

Happy 5th Anniversary to the blog!

MK version 1 in 2011!

My first post in this blog was on May 13, 2012.

After almost 500 posts and 5 years and tens of thousands of page views, the blog is still going strong.

I'm not sure how useful it's been or entertaining for people, but it has provided an outlet for  me to celebrate my friendships and adventures in SL over the years, and in that sense it has been of some use.

Thank you to all the people who have made my time here in SL so very rewarding!

Sassy Moments

Linda is a sassy sub in day to day life, and I would not have it any other way. Listed below (in no particular order) are some of the times I remember she had gotten into mischief and erupted into giggling fits of laughter.

1. Getting Master into the camp fire

We were about to embark on one of the Wanderling expeditions, and just before she TPed me over, Linda had positioned herself so I landed directly on the camp fire in Billy and Sage's backyard. In between fits of laughter, she repeatedly inquired when I rezzed in whether my feet or bottom were hot.

2. Dick Ed

Linda and Sage were thinking about names for me, and Linda suggested Richard Edward...then giggled and said that the name is short for "Dick Ed", which I repeatedly didn't get smh....

All I can say is..."The cage! The cage!"

3. Bill Clinton

During one of the voice chats, I had mentioned to the group that Avril and the Chocolate Belgian guy had been engaging in "aural" sex, and Linda had immediately exclaimed that it looks like they had finally found Bill Clinton, and "oral sex" is "talking about sex"!

4. Let's Get Naked!

I can never leave earlier than Linda, because that girl will immediately start looking for sailors...and firemen!

5. Pimping Master

Every time the auction  at Austin comes around I always have to be on the lookout for my own picture up on the auction board, as Linda has a penchant for telling people that she had put my picture up along with entreaties for having a good time.

*Wham Bam to the Moon!* grrrrr

6. Mic and earphone shenanigans

I sometimes have problems with my mic and earphones when going into voice chat, and my mischievous baby makes full use of my problems.

One time I remember she pretended she couldn't hear me as I repeatedly said "Can you hear me now?", and another time she pretended to be breaking up when talking to me, just to make me believe something was wrong with my earphone.

Oh, she also pretended to Meli one time that I had been IMing her naughty things to do, when all I sent her were some innocuous IMs.

7. Sudden Embarrassing Moments

Linda is sometimes prone to sudden emotional outbursts, some of which are embarrassing lol

I remember one time we were all in the Cafe chatting in voice, when she suddenly called me a "big silly goose" and said she wanted to pinch my cute cheeks. at which point I announced I'd be retiring as a Dom and turning in my Mastercard *smh*

8. Picking Up Linda

I was getting ready to go to voice chat one day, when I suddenly got a message from Linda saying "getting a piggyback ride from some guy..he picked me up..."

I rushed into SL and immediately went to  Austin, fully expecting to see my boo in the hands of some sex predator...my blood was up, and my head was about the explode....

When I got to the Cafe I demanded to know who had taken my girl, and Linda said it was some guy who told her he loved her and had promised her a car!

I was about to go bazonkers when I realized everyone was piggy-backing on some noob item passed around by Meli!

Hmmmm....there were probably a lot more times when my boo had tried my patience, but time passes and I forget.

Anyways....I'm still waiting for that money for burgers.....

In late January 2016, Linda and I were going back and forth about a new live musical called Grease Live, which she had watched on TV. I remember that very vividly, because every time we attended a 1950s dance we had always joked about how she was such a Sandra Dee, though with a twist.

I was listening to one of the songs from that musical called "Those Magic Changes", and I decided to pair the song with a video I had taken of us dancing at a 1950s Sock Hop Dance held at Austin Island (Cafe LaPe'rouse @ Austin ). DJ Dee was hosting, and the theme and skybox was developed by Bri.

I did not synch the video with the song, but I think it still holds up well.

In January of this year, we spontaneously congregated at the new "Frat Room" at Austin, where a lap dance broke out.

Before that however, my baby girl and Sage did a synchronized dance that I managed to capture partly on video.

The segment was way too short to be used for a full musical video, but I spliced it repeatedly to create something that might be amusing to watch.

All I can say is we've got some really really sexy girls at Austin! ;-)
