Good girls should be leashed...

It is the physical manifestation of a bond that is deeper than friendship and darker than love.

It is a reminder that you claim her, and that she is yours to do with as you please.

It is the road between two roles: The one who follows at one end, and the one who leads and guides her through less traveled and darker paths at the other end.

It is the yoke around her neck that reminds her of her place; the ephemeral wings with which she rises above a banal existence and flies; the symbol of her submission.

It says "I am Yours" at one end, and "Mine" at the other.

The secret is out...

Despair
...what comes up, must come down....and other worse things such as the dreaded K word that came to light during the last voice chat on Tuesday, and can never be uttered again on pain of unending torture....sniff sniff....ahem...i say, sniff....

To make matters worse, in a scene straight out of the planet of the apes, a whiff of rebellion was in the air as the girls decided their sisterhood came before their masters! As the late great Arnold would say "What you talking about Willis???!!!"

ps. Well, i did get my "happy on" (as Linda so delicately put it) for 30 seconds, so it wasn't all bad! Hmmmm....

Twisted Disney Dance at Cafe LaPe'rouse @ Austin

Screwtape: "Welcome! Do come in!"
I attended the Twisted Disney dance held at Austin's Ballroom on March 14, with music provided by DJ Nan (Nan Swindlehurst), and hosting by Aisha Sohl.

It was a hell of a lot of fun, although Linda could not attend and I missed my sexy girl. I could not figure out what to wear, and ended up wearing a rather lame demon outfit that I had worn at one time in another dance. Perhaps I was some fantastical vision in Fantasia.

Some of the other costumes though were fantastic, as can be seen in the many pics of some of the attendees that Aisha took below.

About halfway through the dance, Melinda came in and rezzed a Disney trivia game, and we spent the rest of the time laughing and trying to figure out the questions, with Fia getting most of them, while I frantically tried to type in the questions in google with my chicken typing (ie. using two forefingers on the keyboard) ;-)

Enjoy the pics below, courtesy of Aisha Sohl.

Quote of the Month (March 2016)

In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you - Buddha

I've been seeing some really good quotes on people's profiles recently, and so decided I would highlight the ones I think are interesting each month.

This first quote I saw was in the profile of Grace (Summergrace), who is the sim owner of the Veiled Underground.

It is attributed to the Buddha, but was in fact from a book that distills his teachings into memorable thoughts. Nevertheless, i thought it encapsulated a good deal of wisdom in such a short sentence.

Think about it. Use it.

Cafe Voice Chats Galore and Sideboobs

It was a week for voice chatting.

We had the usual voice chat on Tuesday (March 9) at the Austin Starbucks of course, and that was a blast. I told everyone how good Linda was at making different sounds (she had made surprisingly good beer can popping and meat cooking sounds earlier during the day when we were talking), and she suddenly asked why I was "smoking up her butt", and was there something that I wanted from her! I did not know what it meant, but it did give me new inspiration for playtime, and elicited a lot of nervous giggles from my mischievous subbie lol.

The crowd teased me about being a "bottom" when I noted how the Habitue were in the lowest rung of the Austin ladder, and we also talked about Linda being a Geisha Cowgirl. This prompted conversation about various foods from China (with everyone eeeewwwing when I told them how I loved jellyfish), before segueing to ringtones when Linda's phone suddenly played a movie theme song!

On Wednesday, we had a series of impromptu voice chats at the Cafe itself. In the morning, we met Screwtape (Screwtape Foulsbane), Marion Fadlan, and Lenthe (Ardoc Resident) at the Cafe and talked about blue bonnet flowers in Texas, as well as grandma fetishes (eewwww) .

Later that afternoon, a lot more people had gathered at the Cafe and talk swirled around a new "bare butt" contest that was announced near the Austin Tales room.

Images of some really scary and funny looking butts were passed around and displayed on a flat prim, and Linda managed to pick one particular pic (showing a rather curvaceous butt and lots and lots of donuts in the background) to submit.

The rush to confiscate my Master card continued as well, with Linda at one point exclaiming "Hi Master! You big silly goose!", and saying that she wanted to "reach up and squeeze your little cheeks!" (ahem! I say...ahem!)

When I protested that I might turn in my Master card because of this assault on my Masterhood, instead of sympathy I had Sage lining up the girls to see whether they could use the card, plus other assorted cards I might have...and the last nail in its coffin happened when I mentioned a threat to my credit rating, and Linda promptly said bad credit was a deal breaker for her! *shakes my head sadly*

People who were there included:

MK, Linda, Melinda Nyn, Marcus Massaro, Screwtape, Reni (Serenity Streussel), Sage (Sagewisdom), Billy Avedon, Aisha Sohl, Lenthe, Fia (fiammetta1981) - if I missed anyone just tell me about it as it was in voice and I have no text record of the chatting.

Thursday was  a bit more quiet.

We had local chat in text during the morning with Screwtape, Lenthe, and two newcomers to Austin. Linda wore an incredibly sexy shirt with great sideboobs (courtesy of an LM Avril had given me when we complimented her sideboobs during the Tuesday voice chat), and we talked about Austin training and how Screwtape and Lenthe's application assignments were going. In the afternoon, we had a small voice chat going with Aisha Sohl in the Cafe, the topics being mostly serious ones.

All in all, it was a fun and interesting week for Linda and me, and I look forward to more fun times with the Cafe crew in future.

And finally, in commemoration of great sideboobs, some other past pics of my baby girl wearing outfits I either bought her or told her to wear because I love sideboobs and backless outfits.

Yummmmm!!!!

Monkey Temple

I was at Inspire Space Park and by chance looked at the profile picks of one guy there. He had a pick called "Monkey Temple", and the name so intrigued me that I immediately TPed over to the sim.

I was greeted by a large blocky building, with steps going up along one side, while in the distance I glimpsed the silhouette  of what looked to be an immense banyan tree.

I climbed the steps, and found an enclosed room in the center of the floor. Inside, two beautiful flowers flanked a rather curious sight. It was a monkey sitting in front of a television set, and flashing on the screen were the words "I Love You"!

Around this enclosed room, the walls were decorated by statuary, all of them with some simian symbolism.

It reminded me of Hindu temples, with their emphasis on the sanctity of certain animals.

There were also a few monkeys clustered along the low balcony walls, with the huge banyan tree in the yard below as a backdrop.

More monkeys were playing on the grounds below.

But much more disturbing was the decayed and rotting carcass of a long dead tree that had skulls lodged deep into the central hollow!

I have never been the type who regularly explores SL sims, and this was definitely one adventure that had come up quite unexpectedly, but I left the Monkey Temple feeling that I had found something quite unique and mysterious. What was the meaning of the monkey riveted to the TV that was repeatedly flashing 'I love you'? Who had  stuffed the hollow tree trunk with human skeletal remains?

Here's to more unexpected journeys of discovery in the future!

Leather and Lace Dance at Austin

Linda and I attended the Leather and Lace dance hosted by Aisha Sohl at Austin's Speakeasy, with DJ Nan (Nan Swindlehurst) spinning the tunes on March 7, 2016.

It's been a while since we attended a dance together, and it was nice to chat with the other people as we clung to each other on the dance floor.

Linda had on a very tight short leather mini-skirt and a lace top that didn't leave much to the imagination, and she looked utterly ravishing to my hungry eyes.
