The week in pictures

Snuggling with my little pet on Tuesday
It was a very hectic but great week, with lots of laughter, excitement, and uh...other things. We stayed a lot at the Cafe chatting with people or dancing the night away, as well as attending some of the events during the week.

A few of the pics I managed to take during the week:

Monday:

Chats all day, then a tour of the new room under the Alice Room by Ratzu at night, culminating in an impromptu dance and lap dance session.

Thursday:

Some us-time and chats during the day, with a notable interval where Linda, LG, Sage, and myself were trying to figure out the new table and chairs in the Cafe, as well as the nearby bar, with often-times hilarious results.

At night, we attended the "Two Never Without Third" Game hosted by WW at Poker Lounge, Austin.

Just another Wacky Friday

Great talk at Marcus and Meli's Home
The day started out pretty well.

I had instructed Linda to wear one of the outfits I have always liked, and we lounged around at the Cafe while I ogled my baby girl, talking to Marion Fadlan, Liss (LissomePrey Resident), Tasha (tasha Haalan), Meme (Sozome Resident), and Vivienne Schell.

Topics ranged from the marble statues, to old TV shows and the actors that the girls liked now and when they were kids (Justin Timberlake, Johnny Depp, Leonardo Di Caprio, Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Soul, and Kirk Cameron *smh*).

Linda had to leave early, but I stayed and continued talking to Vivienne about disaster and SF movies. After awhile we were joined by Avril Aura, then Peter (PeterJackson72 Resident), as well as visitor Adam (dwayner), and the talk turned to more...ahem... personal things. You know, girl pillow fights, domme boots, massage parlors, and other wholesome fare.

If I keep her calm she won't try for the guns on the wall and shoot me
Later that afternoon, I met Linda at the cowgirl heaven spot in Austin for some private time, before we joined Aqua Fearne, Ratzu Darkstone, and Arie Sewell for dancing at the Cafe. We talked about teen brats, some new planet beyond Pluto (thank you nerd Linda!), and licking things (don't ask).

We were going to Marcus and Meli's home later that day, and so Linda decided to buy a bottle of wine called Drunk Slut Wine, which my lush promptly started imbibing, much to the horror of everyone else. As expected, the RLV-enabled item quickly caused her to wobble around, then fall flat on her face, burping all the way down.
The calm before the duck fart storm
Thus armed with our gift, we showed up at Marcus and Meli's home soon after, with voices enabled. We were ushered into the very nicely-appointed home by our unsuspecting hosts, and I sent Meli one of the bottles of Drunk Slut Wine.

Although I had messaged her telling her not to wear it. Meli immediately took a swig at the wine and promptly fell down inebriated, losing some parts of her clothing as well!

It was only after some minutes of frantic activity that Meli managed to extricate herself from the depths of this seeming disaster, with Linda and me laughing and giggling all the while (yes, i giggle too *shamefaced look*).

Not content with causing such havoc, Linda proceeded to demonstrate to the assembled people (Billy was in as well at the time) a Duck Fart whistle that I had created and given her yesterday. Before long, clouds of noxious Linda gas billowed from the toy, while the air was filled with laughter and the quacking of various types of duck calls.

Marcus and Meli
Unfortunately, my girl had to leave as the first new guests started to arrive. Kurt (Kurt8) and Julie Tremont arrived first, then we were joined later by Sage (SageWisdom) and Tiger's Jaci (jaclinames).

Marcus and Meli offered drinks from a fridge behind the stairs, and I gratefully took a huge jug of brewski which i proceeded to down with much gusto and burping...cuz hey, I'm a guy!

They also placed on the center table a really really pink toaster that served pastry, bagel, crumpets or toast with several toppings. I believe I got a bagel but have no idea where it went. Perhaps it managed to save itself from my predatory attentions and is now living the good life under Meli's sofa.

Billy and Sage
I have to admit, I loved just sitting back in that comfy chair and having some good talk and laughs with friends, although I missed my little boo.

Talk was fast and wandered all over the place. We discussed the voice discussion at Omega earlier, the new frat room at Austin and how I managed to make off with some Bo Derek and Brooke Shields posters, the Mona Lisa, the discussion at Austin about abusive Doms and abused men in general, stalking, voice verification and morphing, and other less innocent topics.

Kurt and Julie
A couple of hours later, as the guests started departing, I ended up alone with Marcus and Meli and tried to wheedle a stay at the guest room from them. Alas, they would not fall for my drunk entreaties and I ended up staggering out the door with the big jug of brewski in one hand.

Thanks to Marcus and Meli for their very kind hospitality, and for the patience they showed to me and my boo. Crossing my fingers that we haven't ended up in the ban list on their land!

Austin Sculptures

Mari
A late night party at Austin turned into a lesson in objectification when Ratzu Darkstone "captured" several of the girls present and posed them as marble statues for the enjoyment of the guests.

There were two marble bases at the venue, and the girls were all too eager to try out the new toys.

Melinda
When I rezzed in, both Melinda Nyn and Mari Carducci were on display (Aqua Fearne soon followed up on one of the pedestals when Mari had to leave), although both had articles of clothing still attached to their slender frames. Meli had a green skirt and gossamer wings still fluttering, while Mari had some lower skirt attachment still in place.

Aqua
The marble bases used RLV to relieve the statues of their clothing, and it seemed it was not up to the task of completely stripping the girls of all their outfits.

Nevertheless, with a little prompting from Ratzu and the other guests, they were soon indistinguishable from one another, their smooth glossy surfaces devoid of all personal traits.

A dancing platform was then set up close to the statues, and the rest of the girls were invited to dance to the beat of Aisley's (AisleyRansom) music stream, their sinuous frenzied movements a nice counterpoint to the immobile stances of the marbled sculptures.

Ratzu made it a point to let the girls examine their feelings as they were forced to remain silent (well, kinda silent) and frozen for the enjoyment of everyone else. We also had the chance to set the girls in various poses, some of them quite revealing, and they had to endure them all with no protest or the ability to resist.

When I asked Meli later how she liked it, she said she absolutely loved it and how it made her feel, and I decided that it would be interesting to create a similar item, but one which would have additional features such as:

(a) poses for two (or more!)
(b) a plaque at the base where people could add their own customized texture
(c) more texture options for the statues and pedestal
(d) a lot more possible poses

I talked to my mesh builder friend Serena (xurtheone), who had been working on complete mesh buildings, and this expert builder whipped up a prototype of the base in mesh pretty damn quickly!

I look forward to scripting the thing and adding lots of poses to it, as it'll be my first building foray into anything resembling objectification.

Back!

My girl Linda came back after a 3 day hiatus. It seemed much much longer, and I missed her, so I was so very very glad she was back.

We first dropped in on Ratzu Darkstone, Aqua Fearne, Frank Lardner, Ulrika Tomsen, and joy (Barbara Thaler) at the Speakeasy and had a short convo on the lottery and 7-11 and the Speakeasy itself, then we headed on over to the Starbucks for the Friday voice chat.

Linda could only stay for the first hour, but we had a lot of fun and laughter talking about different things during that time, including voice morphers, Ratzu's new clear voice, pervs in parking lots, skunks, toilets, and movies. Fortunately, we managed to avoid the usual girl topics, including shopping, shoes, and fashion. Whew! *wipes sweat off brow*

Other topics were the high cost of medical care, the removal of confederate flags and statues, books with racist themes, political correctness, and UFOs and ghosts.

People who attended included: Aqua, Ratzu, Linda, Meli, Screwtape, GIS Belle, Forest of Azure, Marcus, Billy, Sage, LG and Avril.

Anyways, welcome back baby!

Arie Sewell's Ring Ceremony at Cafe LaPe'rouse @ Austin

I attended Arie's Ring Ceremony on January 11.

Linda had planned to attend at least the first part of the important ceremony, but had to leave early.

Nevertheless, I was excited to be in on the event because Mari (Mari Carducci), Arie's collared submissive, is a good friend of mine.

The event was held in the Austin Pavilion, and the chairs rapidly filled with friends and members of the Austin community.

The event started with Ratzu Darkstone giving an introduction, and was followed by speeches from Alvise Cliassi, one of Arie's mentors, as well as Marion Fadlan, who spoke on behalf of Crux Maximus, Aries' other mentor (who could not be there at the time due to RL commitments).

Alvise gave a touching speech about his work with Arie, then admonished him in the end:"here you are, this is your moment, feel it, live it, savor it, and continue to work for gain experience and knowledge, in this way, you will be a special asset for Austin. Congratulations!"

Marion Fadlan came on next, and tried to lower her voice to a masterly grumbling when it came her turn to speak, in keeping with her role as the speaker on behalf of Crux.  She finished by urging him to "Stay faithful to all you hold dear, hold your Mari tight. She needs you . Always put her first!!!!!!!"

This got quite a few smiles from the gathered crowd, then Mari herself came in front of gave a very very touching and moving speech, and I reprint it here with her permission:

When Master Alvise asked me over a year ago to help him with his mentee Master Arie I agreed .....simply because Master Alvise was such a good friend and I was happy to help.  I didn't expect to do anything but to help a friend!   And what happened?  I gained by giving.   I learned a lot about my Master in just a short time and before you know it ----- His collar found a way around my neck.

What a surprise it was to offer to help a Master and then gain so much?  I have learned as much or more than I did when I first received my ring almost 5 years ago.   Austin has grown to be our home, and Master Arie has shown me a path by His side where I find joy every day.

Joy comes in many coats - just like the coat of many colors.   Joy comes in the morning......in a cup of coffee, a touch, a glance and in the knowledge that two lives join to make one.  The joining brings us hope for the future and for the lives we lead and feel together.   I think that is what Master Arie has found and the sharing of lives - and the joining brings more to us than we ever expected.

I have watched and shared Master Arie's journey en route to be a Master at Austin in so many ways.   I have seen his growth, his persistence, his skill, and his dedication to Austin.  He Has made me so amazed and proud of Him.  His mentors Master Alvise and Master Crux used their skill, plus the training program at Austin.   I salute you all.   I've always been so proud to call Austin "home" and now I feel an even tighter bond.

When Master Arie and I met, he showed me the different and many sides of a man who cares, who feels deeply, and who feels His dominance give him and his submissive a feeling of a breathing, living entity.  I learned he has a temper......smile.   I learned more patience.  I learned how important growing is, and listening, learning, and understanding.  I learned how wonderful our Masters on Austin are to the uninitiated.  Life is a journey we all live together ......and Master Arie and I have this past year, like no other for mari especially.

You all know one of my favorite poems ....and it fits Master Arie so well.   To reiterate INVICTUS by William Ernest Henley, I think his last verse is especially poignant:

"It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul. "

My Master, my Captain - I salute you.   I congratulate you as you show your allegiance to Austin..And, I am honored to be yours.....forever and a day.

This elicited quite a lot of tears, and I too was moved by Mari's emotional speech.

Ratzu then invited members of the audience to speak, and many people spoke up about how good a man Arie is, including Rafe Allardyce, Jen Umaga, Belle (Belledujour Arida), Sage Avedon (SageWisdom Resident), WW (worldwide Pedalo), Kaer (Kaerlove Resident), Ara Charisma, Will (WillTitus Resident), and AImee  (iFyoUseeKaiMEe Swansen).

Ara in particular concocted a wonderful story about how Arie and Mari were well met, and came together, which drove the crowd wild.

In the beginning the earth was made.. but it was empty..
so Mari was made...
And with Mari the earth became such a wonderful place
All were happy... but sadly Mari was lonely....
So Arie was Made....
And Arie wandered through this beautiful garden and saw... Alvise
And Alvise looked down on him and spoke ever so wisely....
Make Mari happy!!!!!
And looked so stern that Arie shuddered in awe
And decided to give it a go
And darn there were Fireworks and sparks all over
in this beautiful garden....
So I beg of You Master Arie!
Do not accept this apple from Ratzu!!!!!
It will ruin everything.....

Finally, Arie spoke up.

He started by saying that "My dearest family and friends, it is difficult to express my gratitude and love to you all.  I want to say so much, but I can hardly find the words. So, I'll just say that you are one of the greatest blessing in my  SL life...Standing before you all here on this very special day signifies a beginning, a beginning of something new, a stage of development ..."

He then thanked Ratzu "for giving this sim and making it a place where people can learn about themselves and about D/s . thank you for providing the most wonderful place in Sl. I am grateful and proud to be a part of the Austin community...."

To his mentors he said: "Thank you both...Thank you for being with me all that difficult time. Sometimes the road was hard and bumpy , sometimes narrow ,  at these moments it was your wisdom that kept me going in the right direction. Both of you are strong Dominants and wonderful mentors. Sure there where times i didn't like to be confronted with myself but it made me a stronger man. You did manage to pull me back on the track when it was needed. I am sincerely grateful to you both. Following the Masters creed and showing you and make you proud at your mentee  will reward you i hope. As a Master of Austin I look forward to continue making you proud. Using what you have taught me will help me in helping others on their journey to Dominance, trust, honesty, dependability , submission and so on. As far as this goal attainment requires much effort, skills and time, I hope that you'll help me in it, as always."

He then addressed the other members of Austin:

Love and gratitude - this is what I feel standing now in front of you. Love and gratitude - these are the best emotions one can imagine. I am happy to love you and to be grateful to you....

I remember the day i first set foot on Austin , Marion did offer me a tour to show me the Austin sim ( smiles at the lovely girl who is famous for providing the most wonderful tours around the sim) . I was amazed not only by the beauty of the sim but even more by the Austin members....

All of you have been very helpful and dedicated to support me during my training. Giving me such loving family and caring friends. Your support was crucial for me ,I couldn't even imagine that some day I would have such wonderful friends and family. I deeply appreciate your support. Thank you for being with me....

Thank you all !!!!...

He then thanked particular members of the community, and ended with this touching speech to Mari:

My sweet girl Mari , Your support and understanding gave me the strength to continue fighting. Without you I would have given up. But then you would come and I would remember why I am in this wonderful journey....Thank you for being there, having so much love for me And never leaving my side. With you, my dearest, my dream is always near. Thank you very much.

After Arie repeated the Masters' Creed, the crowd went wild, and then slowly filed into the Cabaret for some dancing with DJ Painthorse.

SL Enquirer's A Journey into Roissy

The SL Enquirer posted an article I had submitted awhile back about Cafe LaPe'rouse @ Austin.

Final day!

The day with Linda began innocently enough when Linda and I talked and did some dancing at Frank's Elite Jazz. This was my second time in the place, and as always I liked the elegant ballroom floor, although I wasn't too keen on the dance moves.

Then later that day, we both arrived rather late for voice chat.

I had made myself comfortable in my regular easy chair when Linda TPed in wearing nothing but a bikini and a ton of snorkeling gear hanging off her slender body. She hastily dressed up, and I assumed it was just her usual quirky way of surprising people (little did I know she really was diving!)

Ruminating on the significance of pink boots
It was the usual voice chat, with lots of laughter and gossip and shopping and shoe talk among the girls, but it got hairy in the end when I had to move in RL. Amid gales of laughter and giggling I cursed my way to another spot, and Linda said they could hear me going "dammit, dammit!" the entire time....anywho, at least now I know who's getting my inheritance money and who's not (*looks side-eye at his little snorting subbie*)!

Later, it was a quiet time at Austin, so I told her we could explore where she went scuba diving. After buying new scuba gear that had a million HUDs and no easy way of going up or down, we finally got some time to explore a couple of sims.

With a friendly octopus...better than squids I think
I have to admit that I really got into the thing. It was a lot of fun exploring new underwater coral reefs and finding hidden treasures. In addition to swimming among schools of colorful fish and dodging squids that inked intruders who got in the way (I got slime all over my nice new rubber suit!) we found sunken wrecks that yielded really cool treasures!

Warily looking at squid that's about to slime me
I found a Captain Jack Sparrow Doll in one chest and gave it to Linda, who was also busily accumulating goodies from other chests that were lying around a sunken ship. She was accumulating so much stuff around her that at times I was reminded of hermit crabs in the sea, who decorated their shells with tons of weird detritus!

Wondering where Linda is inside all the goodies she had accumulated
The time flew by quickly, and afterwards we rested for a short while beside the wreckage of a downed plane at Siren's Isle in the Blake Seas before retiring for the night.

Linda with all her...uh...antique "treasures"
I gotta admit I loved exploring, and perhaps going forward we can do more journeys into the various cool sims of SL with friends!

Another good day!

Avril looked quite comfy on top of us ;-)
We spent another day chatting and having a blast at Austin.

Earlier in the day, I had played the new dice game with Sage (Sagewisdom) and Aimee (iFyoUseeKaiMEe Swansen), with Tasha Haalan looking on. We were in voice, and much as I resisted (yes, i mightily resisted, but to no avail!!!) I got roped into testing it with them.

I picked Sage, and then got a hairbrush as my tool of choice. The hairbrush looked uncannily like a huge ping pong paddle, but that's besides the point. I sat on the chair, and scolded Sage about how she'd been a naughty girl, and I must say Sage played along quite nicely...acting meek and sorry about it all in her whispery little girl voice.

Later, we had long nice text chats at the cafe, first with Meli, then with Avril. We even figured out how to start private group chats!

Ratzu Darkstone, Aqua Fearne, RB Quan, and Dani later joined us, and Aqua made everyone laugh by turning into a balloon lady, and then into a Windup Doll. The drift into objectification continued when most everyone else had logged off, and Ratzu and I looked on as Aqua was transformed into a gorgeous marble statuary, which to be honest looked even better than some of the Alanis Angel statues.

All in all, it was another nice day with friends!

"Linda, you've been a naughty girl, haven't you?"

A good day

"Mrs. Burnstein, you're gonna kiss this yankee doodle dandy"
Had a nice time spending a busy day with Linda.

We started by attending a discussion about conflict at Austin moderated by Ratzu Darkstone, then did a nice voice chat with GIS AImee (iFyoUseeKaiMEe Swansen) and applicant Thia (Llothia Lexenstar), as well as returning O Girl Tasha (tasha Haalan), who unfortunately could not be on voice.

Later that night, we went to a great discussion moderated by Kota about goals in D/s, then wound down the evening in text chat at the Cafe with Mari (mari Carducci).

I'm a quiet kinda guy, and I think more than anything else, it's these calm quiet times with Linda that I'll remember best as my dentures grow ever wider and my hair starts falling like autumn leaves!

Oh, and a shout-out to Will (WillTitus), who was kind enough to check on my girl.

Kisses!
